Up until September 1997 this page showed the programme of events for the Braveheart Convention. Now that the 1997 Convention is over, we have updated this page with information and pictures of the events as they took place.

Friday 12th September, 1997
12:00 for 13:00 Assembly, registration, Convention opening, buffet lunch at Stirling Highland Hotel.

 

14:30 to 16:30 Special visit to National Wallace Monument.

17:00 to 18:00 'Footsteps of Wallace' slide show and talk by David Ross at Stirling Highland Hotel.

 

19:30 to 00:30 Medieval BRAVEHEART banquet at Albert Hall with Ceilidh (music & dancing) until late (costumes provided, or bring own).

Private viewing of 'Legacy of Wallace' exhibition at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum in Stirling.
